All Smith Racing - Weekend Recap - 4/14/2023

Parker and Brandon headed to Callaway Raceway (Fulton, Missouri) this weekend.

There were 26 POWRI B Modifieds and 13 POWRI Pure Stocks registered on Friday (4/14/23).

Parker is still fighting a tight car, went up a few spots in the heat race, started 13th in the feature, was up to 5th at one point, got hit in the left rear running 6th, and didn’t get his spot back. Instead of riding around the back with a handful of laps, he chose to save his equipment and pull off.

Brandon started 3rd in the heat and finished 4th but got disqualified for Bilstein shocks. The rule was changed in November and we over looked it. We have been racing these shocks for the last 3 years. We were given a week to fix it. In the feature we started last, 13th place. We raced all the way up to 4th but ran out of laps. The car was amazing all night.

Brandon won’t be racing next weekend as Callaway isn’t having pure stocks. Parker is shooting for Central Missouri Speedway for opening night next Saturday (4/22/23)!
